The original was scanned at 300dpi but ineptly; the book was placed too far from the scanning platen or camera so the effective resolution is 150dpi; whereas the detail, diacritics and font size demanded scanning at 600dpi for a satisfactory result. Accordingly the searchable text layer is rudimentary.
